Senator Rich was awarded the "2009 Spirit of Hope Award" by Broward House.
Broward House helps to improve the lives of individuals living with or at risk for HIV and other health issues through the provision of high quality services in a loving, caring atmosphere, regardless of the individual's financial status.

Broward House was founded in 1988 to serve the critical needs of Broward County individuals who were HIV positive. They serve more than 6,000 residents living, at risk for, or affected by HIV/AIDS every year.
